Hi! I'm Sam Angelillo—a North Jersey native, lifelong artist, and the creative hands behind Brush and Bouquet.

Art has always been at the heart of my life. I studied fine art at Pratt Institute, earned my master’s from Columbia University, and now share my love for creativity as a high school visual arts teacher. Whether I'm guiding students in the classroom or sketching live at a wedding, I’m most at home with a brush (or pen) in hand.

What draws me to live wedding illustration is simple: I love weddings, and I love love. There’s something magical about being part of such a meaningful day—meeting guests, hearing love stories, and capturing the essence of each person in a way that feels timeless, intimate, and full of joy.

Creating in real time allows me to connect with people, share the creative process, and offer couples a beautiful, lasting keepsake from the happiest day of their lives. It’s personal, heartfelt, and always a little magical.
